The stars and stripes will be well-represented at the Cup of China, the final Grand Prix event of the season, with seven Team USA athletes vying for glory and a chance to compete at the prestigious Grand Prix Final.
Leading the charge is Amber Glenn, the reigning U.S. champion. Undefeated so far this season, Glenn will look to continue her dominance after securing her first-ever Grand Prix gold at the Grand Prix de France. Her record-breaking short program score in France has placed her firmly in the spotlight.
Ice dancers Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko will also be pushing for a coveted spot at the Grand Prix Final in Grenoble, France. The two-time Four Continents bronze medalists secured their best Grand Prix result yet with a silver medal at the NHK Trophy. Fellow ice dancers Caroline Green and Michael Parsons will also compete, aiming to build on their fourth-place finish at the NHK Trophy.
Rounding out the U.S. team is the pairs duo of Katie McBeath and Daniil Parkman. The newly formed pair will be eager to impress in their second Grand Prix appearance after a debut at Skate America last month.
The Cup of China kicks off on Friday with the rhythm dance and short programs. Fans can catch all the action live on Peacock with replays available for 72 hours. A recap show will also air on NBC on November 24th. Don’t miss out as these talented athletes fight for podium finishes and a chance to compete at the Grand Prix Final!
