The team features a mix of young talent and experienced players, all vying for a gold medal on home ice.

Top Prospects Lead the Charge

Porter Martone and Matthew Schaefer, two highly touted prospects for the 2025 NHL Draft, headline the roster. Martone, a dominant force with the Brampton Battalion, brings a scoring touch and leadership qualities. Schaefer, known for his composure and ability to elevate his game, adds another dimension to the offense.

Experience Blended with Fresh Faces

The team also includes five players returning from the 2024 World Juniors, where Canada finished fifth. Considered a potential top pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, he brings elite skills and a commitment to both ends of the ice.

Looking Ahead: A Competitive Roster for Gold

Team management believes they have assembled a strong and well-rounded roster capable of contending for the championship. Canada will face stiff competition in Group A, which includes traditional powerhouses like Finland, Germany, Latvia, and the United States.
