Frankfurt\u2019s Festhalle became a sea of German flags, applause, and flying teddy bears as Darja Varfolomeev captured another major title on home soil. On 14 August, the Olympic champion won the individual all-around at the 2026 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships<\/strong>, securing her third world all-around crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 19-year-old German gymnast finished with 119.500 points<\/strong>, adding another achievement to an already remarkable career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Champion Under Pressure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Competing in front of a home crowd brought enormous expectations, and Varfolomeev’s competition did not begin perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her opening hoop routine earned 28.300 points<\/strong>, leaving room for her rivals to challenge her position. But the reigning champion quickly recovered with a strong ball routine, scoring 30.050<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She then delivered her highest score of the competition with an outstanding 31.500 in clubs<\/strong>. A final ribbon score of 29.650<\/strong> secured the overall victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her four scores added up to 119.500 points \u2014 enough to put her firmly at the top of the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
