He&#8217;s a former Calder Trophy winner and boasts impressive career totals: 330 points (tied for 12th in the NHL) and 160 goals (sixth) in 278 games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wild Aim to Prove Winning Commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Kaprizov has two years remaining on his current contract, the Wild understand his desire to compete for championships. Leipold acknowledges this, stating, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/news\/minnesota-wild-owner-focused-on-long-term-contract-for-kirill-kaprizov\">He wants to win. Significant salary cap relief arrives after this season with buyouts for Zach Parise and Ryan Suter.
