The Los Angeles Kings snapped a two-game losing streak with a dominant performance against the Vancouver Canucks, defeating them 5-1 on Thursday night. Alex Turcotte led the way for the Kings with a career-high three points, including two goals in the first ten minutes of the game.

The Kings wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, scoring three goals on their first four shots. Turcotte opened the scoring with a rebound goal just 51 seconds into the game. He added his second goal at the 9:18 mark before Adrian Kempe put the Kings up by three just 24 seconds later.

Vancouver managed to get one goal back in the second period from Quinn Hughes, but Kevin Fiala answered with a power-play goal to restore the three-goal lead for Los Angeles. Warren Foegele added another goal in the third period to seal the victory for the Kings.

This win is a much-needed one for the Kings, who had lost their previous two games. They improve to 25-12-5 on the season and are now in a good position to contend for a playoff spot.

The Canucks, on the other hand, continue to struggle. They have lost six of their last seven games and are in danger of falling out of the playoff race. They will need to find a way to turn things around quickly if they want to stay in contention.
