The Edmonton Oilers bounced back from consecutive losses to secure a convincing 5-2 victory against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl spearheaded the offensive attack, each registering three points (2 goals & 1 assist) to propel the Oilers to their 10th win of the season.

Edmonton got off to a strong start with Evan Bouchard scoring the opening goal in the first period. McDavid then took over, netting two goals in quick succession, one at even strength and another on a power play, to put the Oilers comfortably ahead 3-1 heading into the second.

The dominance continued in the second period as Draisaitl extended the lead to 4-1 with a slick backhand finish. Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins added another goal in the third before the Senators closed the gap with a late tally from Josh Norris.

This win provides much-needed relief for the Oilers after dropping their previous two games. With McDavid and Draisaitl firing on all cylinders, they’ll look to carry this momentum into their upcoming matchup against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday.
