Skate Canada International 2024 made a triumphant return to Halifax after a two-decade absence. The prestigious figure skating competition, part of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, drew top skaters from around the world to the Scotiabank Centre.
The event kicked off with a bang, featuring reigning world champions and rising stars. Kaori Sakamoto of Japan led the way in the women’s short program with a stunning performance, while Canadian pair Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps aimed to defend their title.
