The United States will be represented by eight promising young figure skaters at the second stop of the Junior Grand Prix Series in Ostrava, Czech Republic, from September 4-7.

Leading the charge is Josephine Lee, a seasoned competitor aiming for her first podium finish in the series. The two-time World Junior Championships team member is the reigning U.S. silver medalist at the senior level.

In the ice dance category, Katarina Wolfkostin and Dimitry Tsarevski are strong contenders. Despite competing at the senior level last season, they are a top team to watch in the JGP Series.

Emily Renzi and William Lissauer will make their Junior Grand Prix debut, fresh off a silver medal win at the 2024 Egna Dance Trophy.

On the men’s side, Patrick Blackwell will compete in his first Junior Grand Prix event. He recently secured a top-10 finish at the Cranberry Cup International.

Saya Carpenter and Jon Maravilla will represent Team USA in the pairs event. They won gold at the 2023 John Nicks Pairs Challenge and are eager to make their mark on the international stage.

The competition will feature short programs on Thursday, rhythm dance on Friday, and free skates on Saturday. Fans can watch the action live on the ISU YouTube channel.

The Junior Grand Prix Series consists of seven events, with the top six point-earners in each discipline qualifying for the Final in Grenoble, France, in December.
