Team USA had a successful weekend at the Grand Prix de France, bringing home three medals.
Amber Glenn captured her first Grand Prix gold medal with a strong performance in both the short and free programs. Her technical prowess and artistic expression impressed the judges and solidified her position as a top contender in women’s singles.
Andrew Torgashev and the ice dance team of Emilly Bratti and Ian Somerville both earned bronze medals in their respective events. This was a significant achievement for both athletes, marking their first Grand Prix medals.
While the competition was fierce, Team USA’s strong showing at the Grand Prix de France demonstrates the depth and talent of American figure skating. These results bode well for the upcoming national championships and the Olympic season.
