Edmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard might have just stolen the show for the “Goal of the Year” title with his incredible display against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night.

In the early moments of the first period, Bouchard put on a dazzling display of skill and precision. Carrying the puck out of the Oilers zone, he surged towards the Senators territory, leaving them in awe with his next move. With a slick toe-drag, he maneuvered the puck between the legs of a hapless Thomas Chabot, effectively creating a clear shot on goal. Bouchard wasted no time, firing a top-shelf wrister past a stunned Linus Ullmark, giving the Oilers a well-deserved 1-0 lead.
