Josh Norris became the hero for the Ottawa Senators, scoring the game-winning goal just 56 seconds into overtime to secure an 8-7 victory over the Los Angeles Kings. The win came after a wild back-and-forth battle that saw the Senators overcome a two-goal deficit in the third period.

Zack MacEwen chipped in with a two-goal performance for Ottawa, while Drake Batherson and Thomas Chabot each had a goal and an assist. Despite missing starting goalie Linus Ullmark, backup Mads Sogaard came up big with 12 saves on 16 shots.

The Kings were led by Alex Laferriere’s two goals, while Brandt Clarke and Anze Kopitar dished out three assists apiece. However, their efforts weren’t enough to overcome the Senators’ offensive surge in the final frame and overtime.
