San Jose Sharks fans can rejoice as top draft pick Macklin Celebrini is set to return to the lineup tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 18-year-old center hasn’t played since the season opener due to a hip injury sustained during a pre-season game.
Celebrini’s return is a welcome boost for the struggling Sharks who currently sit last in the Western Conference. He impressed in his debut with a goal and an assist, and his return adds much-needed offensive firepower to the team.
While excited to be back on the ice, Celebrini acknowledges the challenges of returning from injury. He’s been working hard in rehab and practice to regain his form and contribute to the team’s success. The Sharks have a tough stretch of games coming up, but Celebrini is confident they are ready to take them on.
