The Junior Grand Prix Final is set to be a thrilling event, featuring some of the world’s most promising young figure skaters. The competition will take place in Grenoble, France, from December 5th to 8th.

Japan will send a strong delegation of five individual skaters to the final, including the reigning champion Shimada Mao. Shimada, who also won the 2023 Junior Grand Prix Final, is looking to secure her third consecutive title. Her teammates Nakai Ami and Wada Kaoruko will also compete, making it an all-Japanese top three in the rankings.

The USA’s Jacob Sanchez is expected to be a strong contender. He dominated the series this season, winning stages in Turkey and Slovenia. Sanchez will look to challenge Nakata Rio, the reigning champion, for the top spot. Other notable qualifiers include skaters from South Korea, China, France, and Slovakia.
