Kucherov’s brilliance fueled the Lightning offense, with teammates like Jake Guentzel (hat trick) and Brayden Point (goal, three assists) capitalizing on his playmaking. Andrei Vasilevskiy, celebrating his 500th NHL game, made 19 saves for Tampa Bay.

The win extends the Lightning’s hot streak to three victories in four games. However, injuries remain a concern, with key defensemen Victor Hedman and J.J. Moser sidelined.

For Calgary, the loss deepens their struggles. They have dropped seven of their last nine games and were unable to contain the offensive onslaught by the Lightning. Nazem Kadri scored a goal for the Flames, but their defensive lapses proved costly.

Despite the win, Coach Jon Cooper emphasized the importance of strong defensive play in securing victories. The Lightning will look to build on this momentum while managing their injury situation as they move forward.
