5 Skills Named After Olympic Gymnasts
November 06, 2024

Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid will be back in the lineup tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights, a much faster recovery than the initial 2-3 week timeframe.
McDavid injured his ankle just over a week ago during a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Despite missing the last 3 games, the Oilers managed to go 2-1-0 without their captain. McDavid says he feels good and is excited to get back on the ice.
This is a huge boost for the Oilers (6-6-1) who face a tough upcoming stretch with games against the Canucks, Islanders, and Predators. McDavid’s return adds much needed firepower to the lineup, especially considering teammate Leon Draisaitl has already shouldered a heavy load in his absence, putting up 6 points in the last 3 games.
