Every month the NHL hands out its “Three Stars” award, an old-school tradition that started back in the 1930s to spotlight the players who dominated the previous 30 days. It’s basically the league’s official way of saying: these three were the hottest, most impactful guys on the planet right now.

November 2025’s winners just dropped and they’re absolutely loaded:

First Star – Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche) 26 points in 13 games, +20, league-leading 20 even-strength points, and a three-game explosion of 12 points. MacKinnon dragged the Avalanche to an 11-0-2 month (best since January 2022) and parked them alone at the top of the entire NHL standings. He’s now pacing the league with 44 points and a +30 in 25 games. Hart Trophy front-runner, again.

Second Star – Jason Robertson (Dallas Stars) 13 goals (1st in NHL), 26 points (tied for 1st), and a franchise-record-tying seven-game goal streak for Dallas. Eight multi-point games, including three straight three-point nights. Robertson’s surge powered the Stars to 11-2-2 and second place league-wide. He’s second in shots (109) and sixth in scoring (35 points) on the season.

Third Star – Connor Bedard (Chicago Blackhawks) 23 points in 14 games, four separate three-or-more-point outings, and he factored in over half of Chicago’s November goals (52.3 %). The 20-year-old single-handedly kept the Hawks one point out of a playoff spot. He’s third in league scoring with 37 points and proving the rebuild is ahead of schedule.

When the NHL’s monthly Three Stars look this scary, you know the season is in full gear. December has a tough act to follow.
