The New York Rangers snapped the Buffalo Sabres’ eight-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory at KeyBank Center on Wednesday. Adam Fox led the way for the Rangers with a goal and two assists, while Mika Zibanejad celebrated his 300th NHL goal.

The Rangers, who have struggled to find consistency this season, showed signs of improvement, particularly in their defensive zone. Igor Shesterkin made 29 saves, providing stability in net.

The Sabres, despite a strong effort, were unable to overcome their recent struggles. Owen Power scored for Buffalo, but costly turnovers and defensive lapses ultimately proved to be their undoing.

The game saw some notable moments, including Zibanejad reaching the 300-goal milestone and Fox contributing offensively. However, the focus for both teams will be on correcting the issues that have plagued them in recent weeks.

The Rangers will look to build on this victory and climb the standings, while the Sabres face the daunting task of breaking their losing streak and regaining their winning form.
