Hana Yoshida of Japan has clinched her spot in the Grand Prix Final for the second consecutive year after winning the Finlandia Trophy. Despite a shaky start in the free skate, Yoshida recovered to secure the victory with a total score of 199.46 points.

Yoshida’s compatriot, Rino Matsuike, put on a strong performance in the free skate, but it wasn’t enough to overtake Yoshida. Italy’s Lara Naki Gutmann rounded out the top three.

With this win, Yoshida joins Yuma Kagiyama, who earlier secured his place in the Grand Prix Final, as Japan’s representatives in the prestigious event.
